PR and Marketing

Previously we had run what we called "A SHOW OF FORCE” which included reaction officers and vehicles as well as guards handing out Lanyards and pamphlets on busy street corners. Whilst this was effective to a point it seemed to be lacking the “oomph” needed

The 14th February, Valentine’s day, normally “a blue Monday” seemed to be the ideal time to raise a smile, and this we achieved with huge success. Attached to the A5 double sided pamphlet was a sweet wrapped in coloured paper, wishing all who accepted it “A SWEET AND SAFE VALENTINES DAY” Bright smiles and thumbs up thanked the officers for their “gift” Our visibility was very profound as were the list of services printed on the reverse side of the pamphlet.

Leading on from this success, I thought it pertinent to quickly catch the spirit of 24/7 ‘s presence in the community by printing a further single sided A5 handout titled “DON’T BE A SUCKER”, choose the right security company. This promotion handed out lollipops attached to the leaflet catching the early morning traffic and school going traffic. Many a giggle, a smile or a quick word of praise was heard by our officers who incidentally also indulged in sucking lollipops whilst handing out the flyers. This indeed was a very different and fun filled event that many will remember and once again within a week 24/7 Security was seen in numbers, in the Craigavon Community.
